YES! Parents, Families, and Learning Coaches have many reasons they may need to travel. Students can still attend school regularly and continue learning from anywhere. Students just need to be able to connect to wifi to continue their learning. 

With our schedule, elementary student instruction begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 1:15 p.m.. Independent work time is from 1:25 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. 

For our middle and high school students, direct instruction is from 9:00 a.m. - 12:50 p.m., with drop-in help sessions from 1:25 p.m. - 3:15 p.m.

If you want to register for Medford Online Academy, please use links on our webpage for new and returning students.  Upon accessing the link, if your student is a current Medford Student, you will be prompted to fill out a transfer form. If you are new to Medford School District, please contact our office.

Students will take a comprehensive courses in English, Math, Science, and History as well as a variety of electives.

The Standards Based curriculum is provided by Medford School District Teachers, Edgenuity or Pearson and through our district academic community. Our classes will ensure consistency and credit toward graduation requirements.

If a course is not available online, the student can attend their home district for the course and we are working on a partnership with RCC for advanced placement course. Please contact our office to discuss options for your student. 

The curriculum and teachers will provide work that meets the needs of diverse learners with diverse goals.

Students with an IEP receiving Special Education services that are concerned about an online education will work with your case manager on a case by case basis to determine if MOA is an appropriate placement before enrolling. 

Each student who is identified as TAG has a personal plan that is developed with the student, the family, and data on the student’s strengths. Each plan is individualized to the student and implemented by the teacher. 

Medford Online has limited AP course options. We plan to expand our options in the future. In the meantime, we partner with our Medford District Community and Rogue Community College to expand available course options.

YES! We partner with our MSD schools for students to participate in a variety of ways. Please know that classes and activities will be in-person classes not online. 

For electives classes, please contact our office, we will contact your home school and determine if there is availability for your student. Participation in these on-site, in-person activities and electives is based on space availability.
